What is the most exciting thing about being a wedding photographer?
We focus primarily on intimate weddings and adventure elopements in the mountains of Colorado. The best thing about our job is helping our couples design a wedding day that feels most authentic to who they are. Everyone doesn't have to invite 200 guests or stress about center pieces to celebrate their love. We just love encouraging our couples to think of the best day ever and support them in making that happen.
We prepare by making sure we know every detail about our couple. Our couples are our friends and we truly believe that the best photos come from genuinely knowing who they are. We review information they've told us about themselves throughout the planning process, check the weather, and make sure we know their timeline. But most importantly, reminding ourselves who this couple is and what they are about so we can photograph them in a genuine way on their wedding day.
How would you describe your photography style?
What is your favorite part of the wedding to photograph? Getting ready? Ceremony?

Did your wedding have a theme? If yes, what was it? :)
There wasn't a stated theme, but the bride loved the symbolism of rose quartz and it's connection to love and intimacy. She handmade a rose quartz belt to go over her dress and had a rose quartz hair piece. She also gifted each of the guests a rose quartz to bring more love and connection into their own life.
Something special about the flowers:
Sprigs of eucalyptus with blush colored roses to bring in the color of rose quartz.
