What was your makeup style? And who made you up
I've never been a big makeup person so I went with a very simple look. Just mascara, some concealer under my eyes, and my favorite lipstick. I did it myself.
.
.
.
What was your hair style? And who took care of your hair
I love my hair buzzed and while I normally do it myself, this time I went to Birds Barbershop in Austin to make sure it was perfect.

What jewelry and accessories did you have? Is there a special story about it?
Besides my engagement ring I wore the first ring my husband ever gave me. We had been dating for about three months and he mailed it to me since we were long distance. He apparently didn't look at the description for the ring because he had bought me a wedding band on accident. My whole family thought we had gotten engaged and I thought it was really funny so I wore it on my ring finger until we did get engaged. We never did promise rings but I like to think it was a sign.

.
Where did you purchase the wedding rings and why did you choose this style
We got our rings from Charles and Colvard, an eco friendly company that specializes in moissanite rings. I've always wanted a very simple, vintage inspired ring. I knew I wanted solitaire and I had always had my heart set on silver so the rose gold surprised me. But that and the rose cut of the ring felt exactly like me as soon as I saw it. We also both loved the option of very thin bands.

.
What shoes did you wear ?
I wore my high tops. Since we started dating, every time my high tops have worn out he has gotten me a new pair so they are very special to me.

No cake but we did get vegan burgers and milkshakes right after from Nom Burger and Milkey Way Shakes.
.
.
.
What is your favorite memory from that day?
Taking photos after the ceremony. Since it was just the two of us we got to spend a lot of time with our photographer and we got to have a lot of fun and just be ourselves and enjoy being married.

What is one thing you wish you would have known when planning your wedding?
That time flies between your engagement and your wedding when you're actively planning. Six months sounded like so long but it went by so fast so remember to enjoy the planning part even if you're stressed because that's a part of your wedding too.

What is your number one tip for building a happy relationship?
It's said all the time but if your partner is truly your best friend you will be happy. My husband has been my best friend since we were eighteen and, while of course we aren't perfect, I can't imagine feeling this level of happiness and joy with someone who wasn't my best friend.
.
.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? (or planning to go)
No plans for a honeymoon right now but hopefully something after it's safe to travel
