With that in mind, if you want a gown that is more form-fitting, we suggest sizing it down.

Custom made: If you’re 5.2” feet (160cm) or under, or 5.9” feet (180cm) or taller, or wear a larger bra size and have a smaller waist, or whatever your beautiful body shape may be - we suggest contacting us, and we would be honored to work with you to create a dress that fits you perfectly - think of it as a virtual fitting!

Cleaning instructions:
Handwash / gentle machine wash with cold water, and turn the cloth inside-out when washing.

Measure Your Bust:

Your bust measurement is the most crucial factor in determining your dress size at Blush.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of your chest, ensuring the tape remains horizontal at the back.
Wear the bra you intend to wear with the dress. The type of bra can significantly influence the measurement, especially if it's padded or has a push-up effect.

Check the Size Chart:

Match your bust measurement to our size chart. If your measurement falls between two sizes:For a fitted appearance, go for the smaller size.

For a more relaxed fit, opt for the larger size.

Don't Have a Measuring Tape? No Problem!

If you're unable to measure yourself using a measuring tape, we've got you covered. You can refer to our conversion chart, which provides an estimation of measurements based on your bra size. This can be a helpful guide to determine the best dress size for you.

Consider the Skirt Style

While many of our dresses are designed to offer ample room in the skirt, specific styles, such as mermaid or other form-fitting designs, may be more snug around the hips. If you're considering a tighter skirt:

Check the size chart and compare your hip measurements. Ensure they align with the size that matches your bust measurements.
Due to the stretchiness of our fabrics, it's acceptable to opt for a size one up or one down from your measured size for comfort and fit.
If you have a pear-shaped body, where your hips are significantly wider than your bust, you might benefit from our custom-made options to achieve the perfect fit tailored to your unique silhouette.

Measuring Your Hips

Stand on a flat surface with feet together.
Find the widest part of your hips, usually around the fullest part of the buttocks.
Using a soft tape, wrap it around this point, ensuring it's horizontal and snug but not tight.
Stand naturally and take the measurement.

If you are shorter or taller than average, it's essential to ensure the dress fits well from the shoulder to the waistline:

Refer to our standard size chart that provides "shoulder to waistline" measurements.

If your measurement doesn't match the standard sizes, or if you have significant differences in proportions, we recommend opting for our custom size option to ensure a tailored fit that complements your unique body shape.

Measuring Torso (Shoulder to Waistline):

To measure, first tie a thin string or elastic band around your natural waistline as an indicator. Starting from the middle of your shoulder as shown in the photo, use a soft tape to measure straight down to the string or band.

Additional Tips:
Remember, all our gowns are designed with a stretchy, forgiving material. This ensures a flattering fit that adjusts to your body.
For off-shoulder dresses, consider sizing down to ensure the sleeves fit snugly.

As your custom wedding dress from Blushfashion evolves throughout the design process, we will be sure to keep you updated, so that you are sure your dress is one of a kind. Before we hand-craft your dream wedding dress we can send you samples of fabrics, if needed, in various colors and shades. After you confirm the fabric and design with us, we will send you a special form to fill out all of your measurements and important details so we can get started on your custom wedding dress.
