From a swipe to a 'forever': Pascal and Nicky's love story began on Tinder, but what followed was anything but ordinary. After a few promising dates, their connection blossomed into a relationship that lasted over six years before they tied the knot in a celebration filled with romance, pastels, and personal touches.
How They Met Pascal and Nicky are both from the Netherlands, raised in two cities in the province of Limburg: Heerlen and Maastricht. Despite the geographical gap, their digital paths crossed and sparked something special. They started dating on February 13, 2019, got engaged on December 16, 2023, and finally said "I do" on May 30, 2025.
The Wedding Venue They chose Biesenhof in Geleen, a historic farmhouse with vintage charm and multiple beautiful spaces. The ceremony took place in the attic, while the reception was held at the entrance area under a romantic tent. Later in the evening, they had an intimate dinner with close family and friends at Darwin in Heerlen.
Theme & Style Their wedding embraced a vintage-boho aesthetic with pastel tones and greenery. Think: soft romantic palettes with a touch of disco ball sparkle. Guests were encouraged to dress in pastel hues, adding to the dreamy ambiance.
Invitations Nicky designed the wedding invitations through DIYPaperBoutique on Etsy, choosing a green and vintage-inspired design that felt romantic and personal from the very first glance.
The Dress Nicky wore a dreamy mermaid-style gown in ivory from Blushfashion, featuring butterfly sleeves and a timeless vintage silhouette. It was the perfect balance of elegance and comfort for a romantic Dutch wedding.
Makeup & Hair Inspired by classic Hollywood glam, her makeup featured bold but not overpowering lips and defined eyeliner. Her hair was styled in loose vintage waves with subtle pins by Goldenhair_Limburg, who also did her makeup.
Jewelry & Accessories Her jewelry came from a local shop, but the star accessories were celestial: star-shaped hairpins from Etsy and a Swarovski moon bracelet. "I’ve always felt connected to the stars and moon," she shared.
Shoes To complement her vintage dress, Nicky chose lace Steve Madden back-strap heels – effortlessly stylish and bridal.

Rings The wedding rings were chosen from a local jeweler. Nicky picked a ring with lots of sparkle – simple, elegant, and full of light.
Flowers Nicky’s bouquet was lovingly handmade by her mom, combining greenery and pink, purple, and white flowers for a rustic, romantic vibe.
Music & Moments Nicky walked down the aisle to “Kiss from a Rose” by Seal. The ceremony featured four meaningful songs, and the evening ended with retro beats from the '80s and '90s.
The Cake Inspired by a vintage design she saw on Vogue Weddings, Nicky asked her baker to recreate it – and it turned out beautifully. The cake wasn’t just stunning, but also absolutely delicious (@sweettart).

Favorite Memory One of the most touching moments of the day? “When my mom walked me down the aisle to my now-husband,” Nicky shared. A moment filled with emotion, love, and legacy.
Honeymoon After the celebration, the couple escaped to the south of France for a romantic honeymoon by the beach – the perfect way to begin their new chapter.
Words of Wisdom
“Always speak openly about your feelings,” Nicky says. “Take each other seriously. That’s the real magic.”
